Dancefloor ‘Naturally’ revolving with Louboutins

Next week Justin Bieber is scheduled to be the number one album in the U.S. on top of the Billboard charts with “My World 2.0”.  The 16-year old singer has been getting so much publicity and club play the past month this was not far from predictable.  Hip hop nights in the gay clubs his music makes it a little more enjoyable along with Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and we love all things Rihanna.

A great comparison of the new single coming out from Lady Gaga is that “Alejandro” is a campy, but fairly mundane, tune from “The Fame Monster” that reminds us of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” crossed with Abba’s “Fernando.”  I thought this was a great summary of the song and it is definitely catch.  I heard Kiss FM in Dallas add it to their playlist Sunday night.  It will be a dancefloor sensation just like every other Gaga song but what about “Dancing in the Dark?” it will be the hottest club song of the year if not ever when it hits the turntables and the remixes are released.  Trust me on that.  It not only has a sense of Madonna “Vogue” from her rapping part of the song but it really makes you want to um Dance!

J Lo, who has became Jennifer Lopez again somehow is now strutting around with her Louboutins on and not falling on her butt yet on the US Dancecharts and club play.  She reached number one last week and the gay boys are just lovin her new hit.  The other person who fell on their butt on the American Music Awards performance but had an extremely controversial and sexy performance was Adam Lambert.  His guitarist is a cute but straight acting twink and you cannot blame him for grabbing him and kissing him.  “For Your Entertainment,” and “What Do You Want From Me” have both turned into dance hits and there were many people who asked for him to perform at Gay Prides and at the White Party in Palm Springs but he has not been signed to either. ..yet.

Then there comes this one song that just came out of nowhere called “Naturally”.  I immediately had to download it on my iTunes and looked for remixes on Masterbeat.  Naturally, a song by Selena Gomez and The Scene is off her album “Kiss & Tell”.

Madonna has been back on the dancefloor with her “Revolver” song and you could hear that from every party to the Winter Party in Miami at the pool (via the Perry Twins) to the Tigerheat Thursdays in LA.  Its such a great dance song but some of the remixes I have heard of it have been to twangy if there is such a thang.  Well the the David Guetta versus mix is the one that kind of ruined the song for me.  I like the PVD mix of the song and the original is better than that mix.  Why not play the Tracy Young remix that is on Masterbeat and shoots to kill (bang, bang).  Revolver is one of the best workout songs when you are at the gym it really helps you knock the next set out.

One of the most underrated songs that I haven’t heard much about would be the Toni Braxton song Make My Heart.  I was sent the song and listen to it every time I get ready to go out.  Gives me energy to get ready and just love it.  Do not think I have heard it on the internet dance stations played much yet though or at the clubs for some reason but it deserves a top 5.  Well ok it was a #2 on the Masterbeat for the month so far.   Ok, so here is our list of the top songs of February and March 2010 in the clubs, at the circuit parties, and in our homes or the ones that should be in our bedrooms and dancefloors.
