Sydney plans to host Worldpride in 2023, one of the most significant global events in Australia since the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Sydney WorldPride will incorporate all the beloved Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras experiences plus a supersized schedule of over 200+ festival events. In 2023, Sydney Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride unite to present a truly global LGBTQ pride festival – the very first in the Southern Hemisphere. The theme for the festival, GATHER, DREAM, AMPLIFY and acknowledges the traditional custodians of Australia and represents commitments towards equality and inclusion.
