Stockholm Pride has came up with a great way to help out Russians who hae been forced back in the closet this year for their pride. Since Moscow has ruled that pride celebrations cannot take place 100 years until 2112 they have came to the rescue with this pride promotion. You can invite Russians to #GOWEST on twitter and write a message such as “have a thing for Russian bears” or “Celebrate Stockholm Pride with us!” Or make your own message in Russian… #gowest gowest2013.com”
Going West to celebrate pride sounds like something that New Order would do in their hit song “Go West” but you can do it yourself and not just the russian boys in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Sweden pride takes place July 30th – August 3rd and looks to be an amazing time!
To celebrate that love, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and gender identity is a democratic right, we have taken this opportunity to, with humor and love, direct a special invitation to all of Russia to celebrate Pride with us.
