If you haven’t heard the news the entire gay world is basically coming to one of the best cities in the world this June. The event is World Pride and it will be scattered throughout Times Square, the Piers, Brooklyn, Clealsea, Hell’s Kitchen, and everywhere you can find us queens. This will be the first time in history that the United States is hosting World Pride, with New York joining a group of prestigious cities that have included Rome, Jerusalem, London, Toronto and Madrid.
There are several events to cover with different promoters. With two of the main events they sold out of the discounted tickets back in August or something so to find tickets to these events will be hard if you wait until the last minute. If you want all of this in a\ by-day listing individually by party then look down at the *bottom* of the post.
Frisky Party – World Pride NYC

Cyndi Lauper to Headline WE Party along with Performances from Beyonce’s choreographer
Iconic singer and LGBTQ+ advocate Cyndi Lauper will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall and WorldPride with a performance at the We Party PRIDE FESTIVAL at the Javitz Center on Saturday, June 29. The event, which is being billed as the largest Pride charity event in history, will also feature Beyoncé choreographer Chris Grant and performers from STOMP as the opening acts. Proceeds from the event will benefit LGBTQ+ charities, including the Stonewall Gives Back Initiative and LIFEBeat.
On Saturday, June 29th, WE Party takes over the Javits Center for the World’s Biggest Pride Main Event with DJ Paulo and Binomio (Spain).

Presale weekend passes are almost sold out. A limited number of VIP and weekend passes are available now. If available, individual tickets will go on sale in February 2019.
It looks like most of these passes are sold out but no word on individual tickets yet so you better stay around for the big announcements.
Alegria World Pride
The Alegria events will also be the “biggest ever” at the The Brooklyn Mirage in Brooklyn. Alegria’s WOW (Day event) & ALEGRIA (Night Event) will both be on Sunday, June 30th 2019. At 5:00pm gates open to the premiere of WOW an outdoor spectacular at The Brooklyn Mirage, a 18,000 sq ft outdoor festival complex with state-of-the-art projections, lighting and a festival-level revolutionary sound system plus spectacular views of the city from the 360º catwalks and VIP areas.
At 10:00pm the celebration gets even bigger with the opening of ALEGRIA in two indoor spaces. The Great Hall, a massive 15,000 sq ft event space with soaring 30ft ceilings & acoustic design features a state-of-the-art custom sound system. The Kings Hall, a second 5,000 sq ft dance floor space for a special edition of ALEGRIA XTREME.

Stay tuned the biggest musical performers have not yet been announced and rumors are swirling that the biggest names will be performing. One artist that was announced by NYC Pride is Melissa Etheridge. Madonna is planning to release new music during the Stonewall Anniversary. She could also be performing in Times Square or at a pier or who knows at Stonewall Inn again like she did on New Year’s Eve. She accepts her GLAAD award in May and NYC World Pride is just a month after.
Host Hotels
Host hotels are available at the Yotel for $189 a night with no cancellation fees. The Yotel is just down the street in Hells Kitchen from where the OUT hotel used to be.
