Jeffrey Sanker announced the 29th Annual White Party Palm Springs performer of Kylie Minogue this week after a few months of teasing fans on Facebook and Twitter. Kylie will play the White Party, a three-day festival of entertainment, music by renowned DJ’s and various performers throughout the weekend. The performance by Grammy Award winner Kylie Minogue comes after a few years after Ariana Grande who surprised everyone when her career was skyrocketing. The White Party Palm Springs (WPPS) will be April 27th thru April 30th in Palm Springs, California.
World superstar and LGBTQ+ icon Kylie Minogue is set to headline the 29th Annual White Party Palm Springs with a performance on the 29th of April, fresh off her newly released album GOLDEN and her hit single DANCING.
The music and circuit festival attracts over 30,000 people of the LGBTQ+ community. Jeffrey Sanker has been hosting this LGBTQ+ weekend long festival for the last 29 years. Over the years, Sanker has used the White Party stage to help popularize the careers of powerhouses like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Previous performers include Jennifer Lopez, Ke$ha, Mary J. Blige, Robyn and more!
Golden, Kylie’s first studio album in four years and her fourteenth studio album in a record breaking career, will be released April 6 via BMG, her first for the label. The album was partly recorded in Nashville, which was a first for Kylie, a fact which couldn’t help but influence the sound in Kylie’s superlative pop style. Golden is one of Kylie’s most personal to date – with every song on Golden co-written by Minogue. She’s also getting personal with club appearances in Europe with one on March 26 at the hottest nightclub in the world in Berlin. Berghain will host the pop-diva for one-night of “Dancing”.
We are super excited to see a big performer return to the White Party stage. We normally prefer the headliner be inside like with Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande but the T-Dance will be great as they do have an amazing firework show afterwords you don’t want to miss. 1. Kylie Minogue – she’s currently doing club shows including one a the #1 club in the world Kylie Minogue | Berghain Berlin
2. Cher – you know the Goddess that should be in the R&R Hall of Fame but isn’t yet? Cher has no dates set during WPPS.
3. Madonna – The Queen has new music coming out in 2018 but not until fall? She also has more #1 club songs than anyone.
4. Britney Spears – no dates during WPPS set so far so this could be a think.
5. Spice Girls – rumors are going around they are going on tour but no new music.
6. Troye Sivan – Now this would be fire.
7. Rihanna – she’s had tons of dance hits.Who do you think it could be? The last time they made this big of a deal out of the headlining performer it was Lady Gaga and before that was J. LO and then Ariana Grande.
We hope that they keep bringing these amazing LGBT-friendly artists who play the music we love. We also really hope to see Cher, Madonna, and Troye Sivan take the WPPS stage someday!
